The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) awarded Cavite State University a plaque of recognition on the 13th of June 2022 to acknowledge its efforts in providing free training on flexible learning for 146 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) during the implementation of CHED’s Hi-Ed Bayanihan Project.
Through the webinar series titled “Course Design and Delivery for Flexible Learning Arrangement” which ran from July 30 to August 27, 2020, a total of 3,188 faculty members benefitted from the training which covered several topics such as course development process, online pedagogy, creating an engaging and interactive presentation, creating and using videos for teaching and learning, and how to use Google Classroom.
CvSU was one of the 12 HEIs in the CALABARZON tapped by CHED to provide assistance through the conduct of free webinar to aid the faculty members in the transition to flexible learning for Academic Year 2020-2021.
The plaque was received by Dr. Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro, Officer-In-Charge to the Office of the University President and the Vice President for Academic Affairs, during the awarding ceremony held as part of the inauguration and blessing of the new CHED IV-A Regional Office in Marawoy, Lipa City, Batangas.
